Status: My ears still bleeding from last nite excursion with Mogwai...The Verdict: "Better than Explosion in the Sky show last year" & " Even better than Mogwai Show in Singapore"
The Show: WoW! What a show! Really... What a show!... The excellent lighting show, kick-ass sounds, the sonic assault, the top notch venue, the so called indie crowds, THE band, the fucked-up companions, the close encounter with Mogwai, around the clock road trip, the pure noize, the clinical performance, the sonic mayhem... Mogwai indeed this generation band of the moment. No doubt about it. They played mostly from the older LP such as the electronica laced Happy Song for Happy People LP! (or maybe not) & the rousing finale consists from classic debut of Young Team tracks. Pure unadulterated sonic mayhem & chaos! I truly enjoyed this ear bleeding session. Thank you Soundscape Records for bringing this great band to our shores. Keep up the good works Mr. Mak :)

The Bad: Too bad Mogwai didn't played The Sun Smells Too Loud, Batcat? (They did played this :), Glasgow Mega-Snake, We're No Here (Please come again & perform this songs :) & the non existence of Mogwai merchandises... Thanks Malaysian Customs Department for that :(
The Facts:
1. Mogwai = a strange creature named Gizmo as a pet, which then spawns other creatures who transform into small, destructive monsters.
2. Ticket price: RM128 for early birds = GBP26 = USD36
3. Venue: Tuborg Stage, Hall 5, KL Convention Centre.
4. The Sonic Mayhem starts exactly at 8.30 p.m. & finished almost at 10.30 p.m.
5. We're surrounded by lovely Tuborg Girls. "Brian, please stop drinking. The show haven't started yet."
6. Pre-Show Dinner Meals = Burger King's Whopper Meal :)
7. 1st destination after arriving in KL = Rock Corner Bangsar Village.
8. 2nd destination = Pavilion.
9. Road trip mix tape theme's = Love Burns (dedicated to Swee Jin's lost love :)
10. Brian the lucky one. He found his true love. True love waits :)
